How to Use and Set 90 Day Goals

I bet you’ve heard a bit about 90 day goals lately! And let me tell you: they’re really working for me, I’ve been using 90 day goals in my personal life and my business. And I’ve seen so much success! The trick is that 90 day goals can help you stay on track using a shorter time frame than a year. That way, you’re less likely to get distracted or burnt out by your deadline.
Set Your Goal
First of all, choose your goal for the quarter. It should definitely be achievable in three months, but feel free to push yourself a bit. You’ll be working on this goal consistently. You can achieve more than you expect!
Split It into Months
Next, split your quarter goal up into three big steps. You’ll be working on one step per month. Write down everything that needs to happen during that month to work towards your 90-day goal. Be specific and don’t leave anything out! Don’t feel overwhelmed right now. We’re going to organize you to success!
Cut Months into Weeks
Now, cut each of those monthly steps into weekly goals. You want to know what to do every single week to keep your goal on track! Be specific about your tasks, because you’ll probably forget three months from now. Take that long list of things you need to do, group them together, and assign those groups to specific weeks. Think about what needs to be done first.
Schedule in Your Calendar!
This is the best and final step! Grab your planner (here’s mine!) or pull up your calendar app and schedule a task for every day of every week for the next three months. (If you have a smaller or less time-consuming goal, just schedule time on a few days a week.) Block out the time now and make it a top priority when those days come!
Now, just stick to it!
What goals are you going to crush in the next 90 days? Tell me in the comments!
